The final symbol.

Our journey comes to an end. There’s but one symbol left to guess. Ah, but will you be able to guess it and solve the mystery of the Cup of Fate?

Your final clue is a picture, but you won’t find it on this page. LOL You must search my entire website until you find it.

You’ll need to look at the picture carefully. There is a Celtic symbol carved into the lid of the stone box, the same box which hides the amulet. The symbols holds many meanings–you’ll need to correctly guess one of them, to obtain the final chance to enter the fantasy.

Along with the answer to the final symbol, you’ll want to try to solve the riddle of the Cup of Fate–if you can. Some of you may have noticed a theme behind the symbols as they come together to form a picture.

The winner of the amulet will be drawn from all the correct entries…but like Old Maddie, in my story “Cup of Fate”–I, too, have many treasures to give to those who are worthy. You could win a bonus prize or two, even if your entry is not the one drawn for the amulet. Surprise!
Good Luck!
Mwahhaha…..

Okay, Cass. You’ve got me stumped with this one. I found the picture of the prize, and both the amulet and its carved box are stunning. BUT … I don’t know the name or the meaning of the Celtic knot carved on the box! Bummer.

All I can guess is that, like ALL Celtic knots, it represents eternity, the continuum … the fact that thousands of years after the Druids ceased to exist, I’m still pondering their art work.

Love is eternal, and so are these beautiful designs!

 Yay, you found the picture! That wasn’t easy I bet.

But it has been fun, huh? :)

Ahhh, the celtic knot. Representing eternity and interconnectedness. Also used to protect one from evil spirits.

Problems ensue for the two lovers. Yet, she is offered protection. And an upcoming wedding is fortold. I believe somewhere in this riddle reicarnation comes into play. Having to do with trees or nature. In the end the two lovers find each other and stay together for eternity.

I have NOT read this book. But after all this I think I will. Blessed Be.

    Cool!

Okay, the celtic knot. Yes, for eternity/interconnectedness. Some can even indicate protection.

As for the meaning, it seems like I see the scope of a relationship in here - some sort of pain, a wedding, the involvement of magick, the beliefs of the druids. Nature is a strong theme. There are visions and protection. There is also fertility - maybe a pregnancy?

I’m going to have to read the book!!

OK, so I’m following the crowd with the knot meaning eternity.
But it’s kind of a generic meaning…the fairy wings were a knot and they had a specific meaning.
The closest one I found to the lid of the box was a meaning of “the things most important to us”.

Sure make the last one the hardest!
