Werewolves on the Prowl
I’ve always loved the wolfies. I think the first werewolf romance I ever read was Heart of the Wolf by Saranne Dawson. The book came out in the early 90′s, and before that all my wolfies were found in the horror or sci-fi shelves at my library. I was enthralled. Her hero was everything I thought a werewolf should be.
For the longest time it seemed as though no one wanted to write about werewolf heroes, but those of us who liked our heroes dark and hairy would whisper across the bookshelves at our favorite bookstores. So I “discovered” wonderful authors like Rebecca Flanders, Lori Handeland, Kelley Armstrong, Susan Krinard, and my good friend, Cora Zane.
Once I set my mind (and not just my heart) on writing fiction, I knew one day I would write my own wolfie hero. This October, Amber Heat will publish my story, The Midnight Effect. I hope readers will enjoy and fall in love with my characters.
The story’s hero, Javier Lopez, is muy caliente! Remember to keep a towel on hand when you read it, because this is one drool-worthy wolfman! :)
