My Very Clean House
As some of you know, my mum’s birthday is next week and with all
the family coming in from all over the world to help her celebrate, my older sister decided I needed help getting “clean” enough for presentation. I guess I’m your typical pig in lipstick (read woman) to quote one politician, because my place was a sty.
Sis brought her friend and we scrubbed the place from top to bottom and I must say our house has never looked better. Of course, the trick will be to keep it this way as long as possible, so that everyone can enjoy that freshly scrubbed, house aroma.
Of course, this kind of clean doesn’t come cheap. My bones are creaking and I’ve noticed I’m moving very, very slowly today. Also, bending is something I can do, but straightening afterward is a little tricky.
The good part is I can really smell the carpet now and the lavender and lime magic carpet ride powder was a wise choice, especially since I may be bent over smelling the carpet fibers for a while. Ouch! :P
