The Regenerative Power of The Seas

Cozumel and Cancun

Gorgeous, isn’t it. Makes me long for the boogie board of my misspent college days.
I love the sea. The healing spray of mist, the fresh ozone-ish smell, the restorative powers of the water.
Funny how if I have any skin irritations or any kind of  minor illness or malaise, the ocean washes them clean.
I always feel renewed when I am near the splash of salt water, my toes digging in the sand. This picture was taken last year near Cancun…or was it Cozumel? I can’t really remember.

Living in land-locked Kentucky, I truly miss being near water, and no, the Ohio River doesn’t count.

I’ve only been to the ocean a few times. I spent a couple weeks seaside in France, and I don’t think I’ve ever felt better!

Here, for me, healing and soothing of the soul happens at the lakeshore, or our favorite river spot in the woods. I am a water spirit.
