Last night I was flipping through channels and came across a weird sort of food show. This guy tries to beat these freakishly huge or very spicy eating challenges and the part that got me was the VooDoo doughnut. The actual challenge was later in the show and involved hot fried pepper balls. Ouch! Ya know that has gotta hurt.
The Voo Doo doughnut looks awesome. It has ‘blood’ filling, which is actually raspberry jelly and is shaped like a man with a frosting “X” marks the spot and a tiny waffle cone ‘nail’ stabbed into the ‘heart.’
The whole idea tickles my inner kitsch. Better than the kit kat clock or a flock of metal flamingos in the front yard.

Man vs Food, right?? That guy is nuts! I wouldn’t dare try any of his challenges. Well…maybe the steak one he did, just to have that much steak on my plate…:cool:
