Rainy Days and Newsletters

rain-window

We’ve been having a spate of rainy days here in the bluegrass, and last night our particular area got a drenching. I turned off my computer last night, just to be safe, and this morning when I woke and tried to turn it on, it wouldn’t start up. Yikes! I nearly had a heart attack! My wips, my newsletter, omg! With my laptop having bit the big one a while back, this is all I got.

Well, as you can tell, because I am typing this now, I got the computer back on…but the bad news is my newsletter didn’t get saved! Whah! I do the newsletter in a program that has an auto-save feature, but for some reason it didn’t save when I shut down the night before.

So I am back to the beginning on the newsletter. ::whimper::

I hope to work on it and get it done this weekend and will make sure to post the link for it at my Yahoo group and over at the MMC website for download.

I am still cleaning, revising, and adding to several of my stories, but hope to have release dates for ya’ll soon.

On the bright side, I only have three more chapters to go on my one story, so wish me luck. :)

TTYL,
Cass

One Response to Rainy Days and Newsletters

  1. Cass, what a bummer about losing your newsletter. You were smart to turn the computer off the night before. One of my friends out here in Calif. left hers on overnight and there was an earthquake early in the morning. The entire thing was fried! Wish you could send us some rain, though. We really need it.
