To use a movie quote from one of my favorite comedians and fellow Kentuckians, Lily Tomlin, “…I expect to be treated with a little dignity and a little respect!”

As an e-pubbed author of erotic romance, I’m not 100% sure I’d get either of those, let alone real representation, from the RWA. I’d like to think I would, but the most recent exchanges I’ve witnessed on the net suggest I might do better waiting a few more years for the organization to catch up before joining.

Which is kind of sad since I really was looking forward to meeting all my Romance Divas and other online friends and readers next year in Nashville. :(

But with the nearest local chapter almost a three hour drive away and the online chapters offering much of the same that I can get for free at Romance Divas, I truly cannot justify the expense.
