Book Count: What I’m Reading

I often get asked what I am reading and how many books I read in a year. Well, I’ll be the first to admit I don’t read as much as I used to, but then I used to read 15-20 books a week. lol.

Now I average more like five a month, but still not too shabby, all things considered. And yep, I read outside my genre. I think to be a well-rounded author, you almost have to read outside your own little corner.

Right now, I’m reading Timeline by Michael Crichton. I thought I’d read everything by the man, but saw this and had to snap it up.

If you like a good meld of science with your sci-fi and alternative reality, then this book is a mind-blower you’ll love.

I know when I finish this, it will be sad, since the wonderful Mr. Crichton is no longer with us, and I know I can’t look forward to new releases. Thankfully, his words will live on in re-releases for years to come.
He was such an amazing and prolific author. If you’ve never read anything by him, pick up one of his books today.
