No, this isn’t a request for spankings…unless you are Gerard Butler, then sugar, you can spank me anytime you please. And Gerard, honey, I have been ever so naughty! 
Actually, what I am talking about is time management. The internet can suck serious time away from writing. Between updating my Tweets, answering emails, blogging, MySpace, etc. etc. I easily spend two or more hours a day…but now with the addition of SL, I’ve lost all control, just aimlessly wandering around and exploring. I looked up and got a nasty shock. Four hours had past since I logged in. Four hours! How can that be? All I did was attend a couple of group gatherings, do a little shopping, a smidgeon of sightseeing. Sheesh!
Well, I need discipline. That much is obvious. So, my new rule is 30 minutes of SL equals 2 hours of solid writing. So if I want to check out stuff in SL for an hour, I gotta give Sven 4 hours of storytime on the page. Yep. 4,000 words a day, 1,000 words per hour. Sure, I hear ya’ll groaning. But I really really REALLY mean it this time. It’s not like last time with the sugary beignets and my diet. Besides, they were staring at me begging me to eat them! lol.
Here I am in one of the many areas of Caledon, going for a horseback ride.
BTW, the best part about horseback riding in SL? No mucking of the stalls or getting thrown!
