A Transformative Year In The Making

2010 is the Year of the Tiger, but it is also my year to begin a long-overdue transformation.
Although I still have to get through the special cancer diet that accompanies my annual cancer screening, I have set forth on a path to wellness. My first order of business is to lose weight. I am actively working out at the gym. Okay, it’s more like huffing and puffing at this point, but seriously at least I am trying and I am going 3 to 4 times a week. I am seeing a nutrionist. And I am putting me first. If I am lucky, I will see my goal weight by the end of the year. Whew.
I started this plan of mine on 1/12/10 and have so far lost an astonishing 13 1/2 pounds! Yay me! I plan to incorporate more hatha yoga and meditation too. All this means my schedule will need to be revised, which equates to less time in front of the computer and more time active and moving for me.
Somehow I will find the time to write my books, post here and at the MMC, and attend speaking engagements in SL. As for SL, I would happily chuck it all for personal reasons, aka how to lose 260 lbs of Bear fat. lol But I have built something there and have made friends who are smart, fun and thank goodness interested in more than sex and cheating on their spouses. What is that, like 9% of the SL population who are there for more than pixel cartoon sex and cheating? Yeah, I think that is about right.
oh where was I? That’s right, I was talking about transformation. Another part of my plan is to learn the art of happiness. I think it involves margaritas and sandy beaches, at least for me. lol. I may yet get to Puerto Rico, Tempest, so get those beach towels ready, sugar! :)

I’m glad that you are working on you this year. It can be hard to be happy, but is well worth the effort it can take.
