Ringing in the New Year With Futures Foretold!

New Year’s Day Cora and I kept busy by reading tarot spreads for anyone who stopped by our new Gypsy Bardo (caravan) http://slurl.com/secondlife/Gloomy%20Creek/29/95/28. We had a blast and I hope everyone we read for enjoyed it and was able to take something from it that helped.
The decor was all Cora. She is becoming an amazing builder in SL. I am constantly marveling at her swift understanding of the technology. I am just happy I can walk and chew gum at the same time and not fall off a bridge. lol
We hope to schedule more tarot readings this month at the new MMC location at the bardo in Gloomy Creek. But please watch out for Chomp, the alligator in the swamp. He will ask you to feed him, and it isn’t pretty when he grabs you and won’t let go. Yikes!
I also know that many of my readers and Cora’s as well, cannot take part in the Second LIfe events due to their ISP service or computer specifications. So I will be doing a tarot readings session also this month in the MMC chat pit on our website http://www.midnightmooncafe.com/chat. Date to be announced.
A word of caution. While I admit SL has been an adventure and I have made many friends, it can be a treacherous place filled with temptations that can ruin established relationships and bring out the hidden aspects of us all. I am sad to report that it happens more often than not.
Strange how pixels and cartoonish goofy and fun paper dolls can have such an impact. But again, there are real people behind those silly paper doll images and people can be hurt emotionally. So know that before going in to SL, if you go in with your husband or partner, or perhaps you’ll meet someone there, in a world where anything seems to go and 75% of content seems devoted to sex, that sooner or later someone will be hurt and it can cause a RL relationship peril and/or destroy it. SL didn’t cause it–not completely. But it does give a man or a woman the platform and opportunity.
So for those ladies (and you know who you are) that have shared their heartbreak with me, know that I understand and I know you’ll get through this difficult time and rise above it, victorious as ever. Sugar, they didn’t deserve you to begin with! ((hugs))

It was a wonderful reading session. I hope we’ll be able to do that again soon.
