I wish my desk in RL looked as neat and uncluttered as my SL desk. lol. In RL, I have a plate of celery and crackers sitting on top of my scanner and my bottle of Sprite Zero (now warm) about four inches from my mouse pad. Next to that, I have my iPod with the earbuds on and right now, Stone Temple Pilots is playing Big Empty. Which is what my story will be unless I can pull together all my elements into a cohesive plot.
Assorted pens, markers, notecards, paperclips, and keychains litter the desk. To the right of the printer are five stacks of books I have sticky noted: one stack is marked ‘give to senior house’ and another note says ‘give to library’ while yet another has a big question mark. The other two stacks are for upcoming contests here on my blog. Whew.
On the other side of the scanner, rests a large vitamin bottle, my chewable orange aspirin, a brush, and a pump bottle of hand sanitizer. Not that I am germaphobic, but it was on sale 2 for 1, and my mum bought two of them and handed one to me. I guess in case I had to shake someone skeevy’s hand, she wanted me prepared. lol.
Progressing today on the untitled sci-fi/paranormal. Siting at 18,425 words. The goal on that one is roughly 30,000. Also made in-roads on my vamp/non vamp story this week and had several revelations this last couple of days so the story is shaping up to be a long one.
